Ian Phillips, Ashridge Communications, grows a mo for Movember

Once again, this Movember Ian has decided to donate his face to raising awareness about prostate cancer.  His donation and commitment is the growth of a moustache for the entire month of Movember, which has been known to generate conversation, controversy and laughter.

This year, is the most compelling yet as Ian’s son, Toby, is working for Movember in London and has decided, in keeping with this year’s theme of ‘Movember and Sons’ they should both grow MOs in the same style. A picture update will be posted after a couple of weeks on Ian’s Mospace, http://mobro.co/ianphillips

There is also a sporting challenge to accompany the mo growing which will consist of some form of severe physical activity at least 4 times each week.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. One man dies every hour from the disease in the UK. This is a cause that Ian feels passionately about and you can support his efforts by making a donation to The Prostate Cancer Charity. To help, you can visit: http://mobro.co/ianphillips and donate.

The Prostate Cancer Charity will use the money raised by Movember for the development of programs related to awareness, public education, advocacy, support of those affected, and research into the prevention, detection, treatment and cure of prostate cancer.
